Liturgical Ministries for Mass
Participate in the Mass as a Sacristan, Usher, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Altar Server, Greeter, Gift Bearer or in Music! To sign up, contact your parish office.
Adult "School of Faith"
All adults are invited to join Fr. Cesar on Wednesday evenings for "School of Faith." These sessions run alongside K-6 Faith Formation classes (Faith Formation registration not required) from 6:00-7:15 PM in the Holy Spirit Gathering Space. Free childcare is also provided in the St. John Paul II gym. Sign up here (registration not required but allows us to notify you of scheduling changes, cancellations, etc).
Bible Studies
If you are interested in starting or joining a bible study, contact the Faith Formation office. There are various studies held throughout the year, including Advent or Lenten studies, book studies, small group opportunities, and more!

Catholic Homeschool Co-op

Catholic United Financial Local Volunteer Team
Help plan social and service-oriented activities and support Catholic education for the parishes on behalf of Catholic United Financial members. Contact Mary Renshaw at 605-999-7871.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Lead a separate children’s lesson during the 8:30 AM Mass at Holy Family and 9:00 AM Mass at Holy Spirit. Contact the Faith Formation office to volunteer!
Decorating Committee
Prepare the interior and exterior areas of the churches for the liturgical seasons, led by Jayne Rubendall at Holy Family and Vickie Traupel at Holy Spirit.
Donut Sunday—Coffee & Rolls
Donuts and coffee are served after Masses during one weekend per month. Volunteers are needed! To sign up, contact the pastorate office.
Eucharistic Adoration
Visit Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament on Tuesdays from 8:30AM-8PM at Holy Family and 8AM-7:30AM on Thursday-Fridays at Holy Spirit.
Faith Formation
Serve as a class leader or helper, chaperone events, assist with set-up, administrative tasks, commit to prayer for the program, or serve others needs to support catechesis of our youth. Contact the Faith Formation office.
Fasting Brothers
Commit to fasting one day per week (in conjunction with the Seven Sisters Apostolate) for the intention of the pastor. Contact Paula Heida at 605-999-0702.
Grief Share

“Little Catholics” Lake Mitchell Bible Camp

Livestream Mass/Events

Living Rosary
A decade of the Rosary is recited daily by 20 individuals so that the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries are said daily. Contact Jeanice Korzan at 605-999-3770.
Living Stations
Each Lent, youth and young adults put on a moving portrayal of the Stations of the Cross. Volunteers are needed for acting, reading scripts, helping with audio/visual, and more. Anyone with sewing skills is also encouraged to reach out to help with costumes. Contact the pastorate office.
Meals on Wheels
Deliver meals to the homebound. Each parish commits to various routes that run about one month out of the year. Contact Marcia Sprinkel at 605-770-2328 for Holy Family or Deb Barondeau at 605-292-2000 for Holy Spirit.
Men’s Group—That Man is You!

Mitchell Food Pantry

Music Ministry
Join the choir, cantor or share your musical talents at either parish! Contact the parish offices to get involved.
Our Lady Rosary Makers
Join the Rosary Makers once per month to make rosaries and help send them to missions across the world. Contact Kathy Northrup at 605-770-0943.
Prayer Chain

Semper College
Semper College meets on Tuesday evenings during the school year from 6:30-8 PM in the newly renovated Nazareth Room at Holy Family. Social Concerns
Raise awareness and seek ways to meet the needs of current social issues. Current activities include serving the Love Feast, assembling baskets for new babies, and reaching out to the homebound.
St. John Paul II Parent Club

Third Order of St. Francis
